More pidder padders!

This year we are going to be having all our puppy litters in Spring and Summer. It seems we have had many requests for female pups, but the last four litters we have had (small litters of 1-3 pups), we have only had boys. I love my boys ... love the outgoing, clowns that they can be :) If only I could keep them all!

We recently had a litter of two from our girl Kitty (post - New litter). Two weeks following we had another litter from Bliss. Three beauitful boys. Bliss has always been an excelent mom and her pups are awesome during thier 8+ weeks with us. We bred Bliss to Tomi this year and had two black /tans and a red. I am excited to watch them grow (as I am with all my 'babies').

This past week we have had Bliss semi-fostering Kitty's two boys. Once Kitty's boys turned three week and wanted to play, Kitty started getting annoyed. She snapped at one of the boys and we didn't want to take the chance of anything bad happening as they grew. Kitty would nurse her boys but shorlty after we had to take her out of the puppy pen as she would start to growl.

Bliss is a natural (just like her mom, Winnie) and took to the two boys like they were her own. We have slowly weaned the boys off of Kitty and onto Bliss.

These boys are now 4 weeks old and are very playful. We have playdates in the livingroom in the evening with River and Tomi ... watching these boys run around and interacting with the older dogs is a  lot of fun. They tire out pretty quick, but the snuggles are awesome! Both boys love to give me kisses, Toshi more so, and I am hoping they continue to be friendly and outgoing over the next few week.
